The functions in this section control the formatting and display of labels. This includes data labels (text strings which are supplied with the data array), tick labels (automatically generated by PHPlot), and the special labels used on pie charts to show the percentage of each pie slice. Tick labels apply to both X and Y values, while data labels only apply to X values.
